Busted for wearing a peace T-shirt; America has gone insane!

Mike Ferner served as a Navy corpsman during Vietnam War. He was aressted for wearing a t-shirt while sitting down by himself, drinking a cup of coffee. Some Americans have obviously totally lost the plot.

Senator Ted Stevens Downloads the Entire Internet and Complains It’s Slow!

Regarding a recent vote, Senator Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) explained why he voted against the amendment (basic net neutrality) and gave an amazing primer on how the Internet works: “It’s a series of tubes.” and “…an Internet was sent by my staff at 10 o’clock in the morning on Friday and I just got it yesterday.” Story includes an mp3 link.

Microsoft’s iPod killer to provide free versions of all your iTunes tracks

To attract current iPod users Microsoft is going to let you download for free any songs you’ve already bought from the iTunes Music Store. They’ll scan iTunes for purchased tracks and then automatically add those to your account. Microsoft will still have to pay the rights-holders for the songs, but they believe it’ll be worth it to converts.
